Description
This 2–3 hour training module provides an introduction to integrating community engagement and accountability into emergency response operations, combining a PowerPoint session with group exercises (1.5–2 hours) and a 1-hour emergency scenario exercise. It can be delivered as a standalone session or integrated into other trainings such as disaster management, ERU, or CAP workshops, and is designed to be flexible, with slides that can be hidden or revealed to suit participants’ roles, prior knowledge, and available time. Facilitators are expected to review and tailor the content in advance, with additional RCCE-focused slides available for epidemic scenarios, and an option to deliver a shorter version focused on the 10 CEA minimum actions.
