Preventing and reducing stigma and discrimination toward Mental Health: Vol.2 Suicide Prevention

This video takes you through the steps used as part of a large pneumonia prevention and control programme in Cote d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Mali, Sudan and Zambia, to facilitate behaviour change. The centre of the approach was to motivate people to act by changing their behaviour, and building individual, family and community support systems around them. This method can be applied to other areas of work, not only health.

Pairing is sharing game
A word-association card game designed to support volunteers in engaging with the communities. It can be used for various purposes and in different settings, such as at Humanitarian Service Points. The game was designed by Matteo Menapace and it was piloted in a reception centre run by the Italian RC in the North of Italy.
