This video takes you through the steps used as part of a large pneumonia prevention and control programme in Cote d'Ivoire, Ethiopia, Mali, Sudan and Zambia, to facilitate behaviour change. The centre of the approach was to motivate people to act by changing their behaviour, and building individual, family and community support systems around them. This method can be applied to other areas of work, not only health.
