This evaluation examines how effectively community engagement approaches were implemented in the Ukraine and Impacted Countries Emergency Appeal, which was launched in February 2022 in response to the humanitarian consequences of the escalation of the Russia Ukraine international armed conflict. It assesses the difference these approaches made in practice and identifies what is needed to sustain and strengthen them in future operations.
